Terms and Conditions of Registration – Refund Policy
The following terms and conditions apply to this NZPIF event.
Any cancellation is required to be in writing and sent via email to email@example.com
A registration cancelled within 14 days of purchasing the event ticket will receive a full refund.
A registration cancelled after 14 days of purchasing the event ticket will receive a full refund less a $150 administration fee.
A registration cancelled within 30 days of the event will receive a 50% refund on the event ticket less a $150 administration fee.
A registration cancelled within 14 days of the event will receive no refund.
A registration made within 14 days of the date of the event will receive no refund.
3.Change to advertised programme
The conference programme has been organised in good faith.In the event that any published speaker is unavailable for any reason as advertised, the organisers reserve the right to alter the programme as they deem appropriate, including arranging for alternate speakers.Accordingly, any alteration to the advertised programme does not constitute a grounds for a refund in whole or in part.
If the New Zealand Property Investors’ Federation Inc. and/or the host Property Investors’ Association Inc. being the conference promoters and/or organisers are unable to run an event because of matters outside their control, the following refund policy will apply.
If a major event occurs (including but not limited to fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or any other natural disaster, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labour dispute, strike, lockout or interruption of failure of electricity or telephone service) that prevents the promoters/organisers from running the conference, and this means that for reasons beyond their control they are unable to perform their obligations to registrants, sponsors and any other affected parties, then these obligations will cease.In such circumstances the promoter/organiser will consider refunding part of all of the registrants’ and/or sponsors’ monies.Any such refund will be negotiated in good faith taking into consideration that the promoter/organiser will have to meet all committed expenses and costs as a first priority before giving consideration to any apportioning and refunding of any remaining monies that may be available from the conference revenue.
5.For the purposes of these terms and conditions and refund policy, the promoter/organiser is the New Zealand Property Investors’ Federation Inc. together with the Property Investors’ Association that is hosting and organising the event for the time being.
The collection, use, storage, disclosure and correction of personal information by the New Zealand Property Investors' Federation and it's Associations is governed by The Privacy Act 1993. Personal information means information about an identifiable individual. The Federation complies with the obligations of this Act.
It collects, stores, uses and discloses personal information about individuals in the following circumstances:

The Federation may use this information for statistical purposes and for system administration tasks to maintain this service. The Federation does not attempt to identify individuals as part of regular business practice. However, in the event of an investigation, the Federation, a law enforcement agency or other government agency may exercise its legal authority to inspect relevant server logs.
Confidential and Personal Information
The Federation takes all reasonable precautions to guard against unauthorised access to confidential and personal information including the loss, misuse and alteration of the information held by the Federation on its servers. When personal information is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected it may be deleted.
A cookie is a very small text file that is sent to your browser from our web server and stored on your computer hard drive. The text file is sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. Cookies help us to provide the user with a customised experience without having to remind us of his/her preferences each time he/she returns to our web pages. Cookies cannot damage files, nor can they read information from the hard drive of a computer. It is possible to disable the acceptance of cookies by your web browser. However, doing so may restrict your ability to access some web pages. Cookies can be automatically deleted at the end of each browser session.
Credit Card numbers are entered on our payment gateway, currently eGate and the ANZ, and are not processed, held or saved on this site.
Personal information held by the Federation will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent and the consent to the local Association to which you belong unless the Federation is obliged to disclose information in certain circumstances set out in the Act or by order of any Court of Tribunal of competent jurisdiction.
If at any stage you provide us with your email address either as part of a message or by completing a web form, we will only use your email address for the purposes for which it was provided. We will not subscribe your email address to any external mailing list without your consent.
External sites that are linked to or from the Federation site are generally not under the control or responsibility of the Federation and you are advised to review their privacy statement.
The Federation will use reasonable endeavours to maintain accurate, up-to-date information regarding members. If you believe that the personal information the Federation holds about you is inaccurate and requires correction or if you require copies of your personal information held by the Federation, please contact us;
